The APH Hive Launches Summer Learning Cohort

APH is thrilled to announce the launch of our FREE summer cohort, powered by the Hive, where educators and aspiring Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments (TVIs) can unlock new insights and strategies to enhance their teaching practice.

What Defines Our Cohort?

A unique opportunity to engage in an asynchronous learning experience over a six-week period, the cohort spans from July to early August. Our primary goal is to foster a collaborative environment where TVIs and those preparing to become TVIs can delve deeper into the course content together.

What Will We Study?

Our cohort will center around the groundbreaking course, “Unlocking the Foundations of Reading for Students with Visual Impairments,” offered exclusively through the APH Hive. Developed in collaboration with experts in the field, this course examines the essential components of literacy instruction, exploring the unique challenges and opportunities faced by students with visual impairments. This course is a game-changer for educators and reading enthusiasts alike, providing invaluable insights into teaching literacy to students with visual impairments.
