CloseDIY Tactile Easter Art

Keep your home-bound learners hopping toward Easter by making tactile drawings for children to color or paint.
Materials Needed:
- 3-D paint, any brand such as Tulip or Puffy, or make your own tactile paint, or just use liquid glue.
- A drawing of your choice
- Draw your own design.
- Purchase a simple inexpensive coloring book.
- Access and join (free) the APH Tactile Graphic Image Library (https://www.aph.org/the-tactile-graphics-image-library-helping-students-succeed/) to download drawings that you can print on paper.
Directions:
First, trace the drawing with glue or paint. Allow plenty of time to dry, consider doing it before going to bed. In the morning it will be dry and ready.
Next, grab your child’s coloring utensil of choice and decorate away!
Expansion Activities: dye and decorate Easter eggs, have an Easter egg hunt using a sound source, or play pin the tail on the bunny. Best activity—eat chocolate!
